Dear Student,
I welcome you to the Bhim Rao Ambedkar College family. Our College was established in 1991 after the name of the chief architect of Indian Constitution, Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar and is 100% funded by GNCTD. We work together to inspire the young students to build up their career and transform themselves into decent human beings.
Our college does not have a very long history but certainly has an eventful past. Achievements both in academics and sports have enabled us to be amongst the best in Delhi University Colleges. |

The college is also known to be the pioneer in starting many professional courses such as Business Economics, Social Work, Hindi Journalism and Mass Communication. Recently we started B.A. (Hons.) Applied Psychology, renovated the Auditorium and added a new Computer Lab. The college invites distinguished experts to speak on various issues to update the knowledge of students and motivate them to be confident in life and to be gender and disability friendly.
Our teaching faculty, staff and students always strive for an all-round development by helping you to develop your potential and make the best use of the available opportunities in academics, sports, cultural and other extra-curricular activities. This will help you feel as proud achievers in your selected fields. College life plays a significant role in shaping one’s career and therefore, has to be used meaningfully and creatively, more so, because a large percentage of eligible students aspiring for higher education do not get this opportunity.
Dear students, you should make the best use of college life so as to achieve the highest in academics, personality development and caring social life. This will not only elevate the college, but will also contribute in creating a just and participatory social and economic environment. This requires hard work and co-operative efforts at all levels; only then can we make a difference. The relatively younger group has a major responsibility as there are no shortcuts to success and challenges emerging from competitive world are tough.
