From My Pen

It gives me great pleasure to introduce our course B.A. (Hons.) Business Economics at Bhim Rao Ambedkar College (University of Delhi). it is a 3 year full time professional undergraduate programme which was first started in 1995 at our College. The course was restructured in 2003 and was made a six semester course. The course provides the students papers from diverse fields like Economics, Management, Mathematics/ Statistics and Computers. After passing the second year, the students have to opt for two optional groups from the total of seven groups. The optional groups give the students a feeling of specialization and the broad area for groups are;  Finance, Marketing, International Business, Computer Applications. Quantitative techniques, Management of Services and Entrepreneurships.  The thrust of the course is towards education whish is application oriented. the key attraction to this course has been weekly seminars where eminent speakers from  the corporate/academic world are invited to deliver lectures on diverse fields of interests to the students.

it is our constant endeavor to provide detailed knowledge of the course and its activities not only in publications like placement brochures, departmental diaries etc. but also through electronic medium whose reach is unlimited and easily accessible to all who want to know about us.Through E-medium or internet connectivity, we would constantly try and upgrade our site so that latest knowledge is communicated to the general public. Our students have dine a tremendous job in  making  a presentable and informative site for ready reference to all. I wish them all the success in their endeavor.
